The 1756-ShowIO is a linear timecode (LTC) reader and generator for Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLCs. It is compatible with all processors in the ControlLogix family, including the Logix5550 or Logix5555 processors. It reads and generates SMPTE or EBU, and allows the PLC's ladder logic to control and monitor the timecode. All standard frame rates are supported -- 23.976, 24, 25, 29.97, 30, and 30 drop. It also regenerates received SMPTE, dropout free, at its generate output.
