What is a normal boot sequence for the DVM2?
When the unit is first powered up the green (Status) LED in the upper left of the front panel will blink. At this time the green power LED on the removable drive will also turn on. While the Status LED blinks the hard disk activity light will also turn on and off as the unit initializes itself. When the initialization is complete the Status LED will go off, the yellow (Sync Status) LED will blink, finally the red (Error) LED will blink. If a sync signal is being received the Sync Status LED will be on. If ethernet is connected to the unit the greed (Ethernet Link) LED in the lower left of the front panel will be on. If you have no video scheduled, no playlist 0, or no video 0 then there should be no hard drive activity after this power up cycle is complete.
