How do I create an .AMS or a .SFD sound file from a .WAV file?

These file types are raw PCM data, .AMS is mono audio and .SFD is stereo audio. You will require some audio editing software such as Adobe Audition to make the conversion. Using your editing program, open up the audio file and convert it to or save it as 'Raw PCM' data. Then before you save the file to your PCMCIA media change the file extension to .AMS or .SFD, still using conventional naming for the file name.
