Case Study:
Smithsonian's Price of Freedom
United States Military History

Smithsonian's 18,000 square foot exhibit explores United States military history.

The exhibit was designed to comply with Smithsonian's new and more stringent operational requirements, including unmanned continuous operation of systems and monitoring of display device functionality in the basement control room.

A Vietnam-era display simulates live new broadcasts using six video sources controlled by an Alcorn McBride V16. The installation was done by Design and Production.

Alcorn McBride's Joy Burke provided on-site show control programming.
