Description:
Alcorn McBride Inc. – the leader in audio, video, lighting and show control for the Themed Entertainment, Broadcast, Museum and Military Industries – is looking for a Sales Engineer to join our Sales team and help grow our business.
The position will have the following responsibilities:
· Educate customers on our product line (via phone, email, Skype/GoToMeeting/site visits)
· Research new project opportunities worldwide and pursue product specification opportunities
· Proactively reach out to current and prospective customers to educate them about new product development at Alcorn McBride
· Follow-up with customers who have requested price quotes
· Close sales
· Provide pre-Sales application support
· Conduct Product Education/Training sessions
· Up to 35% travel required
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
· Experience in a highly technical environment such as an interactive museum, military simulation group or theme/amusement park
· A charismatic personality and willingness to pursue new opportunities in varying markets
· Strong presentation skills when speaking to a group or 1-to-1
· Experience selling technical products in business-to-business scenarios
· Must be a team player and work within a collaborative selling process
· Able to quickly learn products and demonstrate their capabilities
· Self-starter
· Knowledge of control system programming (such as AMX, Crestron, etc.) is a plus.
Compensation for this position will be a mix of salary plus commissions. We provide fully-paid health insurance and a 401(k) with a generous Employer match.
